Kaiser Chiefs frontman, Ricky Wilson, has been meeting the meerkats at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary - ahead of his Isle of Wight Festival performance this weekend.
Ricky has been the guest of honour for the day, where he met the lions and tigers - and saw the meerkats being fed.
Lucky Isle of Wight Radio listeners also joined Ricky at the Yaverland-based site.
The Kaiser Chiefs are headlining the Big Top at the Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday night (18) at 11.45pm.
Ricky told Isle of Wight Radio:
"The animals are so great here and they are all very well looked after - it's a great day out.
"I'm really excited to be playing the Isle of Wight Festival - it's such a fantastic festival as we all know. I really enjoy playing it!
"If John (Giddings) ever asks me to play, he knows I will always do it!"
