A new weekly event in Northwood aims to keep Islanders warm and safe.
'Warm Spaces' is open to anyone looking for a bit of company and free refreshments.
The initiative is run by Northwood Parish Council, with support from voluntary and community organisations.
It takes place every Tuesday at the village hall, between 1.30pm to 5pm
Parish councillor Richard Martin said:
"The Village Hall will be heated, safe and a friendly place where people can comfortably spend time relaxing and chatting with others."
Members of the parish council are available for lifts to anyone in the parish who may want to come.
