Firefighters are tackling a blaze in a kitchen at a property in Ryde.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue have been called to an address at Buckland Gardens.
One appliance from Ryde, two from Newport and one from Shanklin are in attendance.
The kitchen is said to be "well alight", the fire service said.
Fire crews were first alerted at 5.19pm.
