A fire which ripped through a property in Lake is being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to Westlake Avenue, alongside firefighters, at 4.15am this morning (Saturday).
The house was destroyed, but Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed no-one was inside at the time of the fire.

No other properties were damaged.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“We are currently treating the fire as suspicious and officers are conducting enquires along with the fire service.
“A scene is currently in place and will remain for some time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
“Did you see anything suspicious in the area at the time?”
