Lifeguards at Ryde beach are now back on duty following last year's successful season.
They dealt with a suspected broken arm and concussion after a man fall on the beach on Friday - just two days into the new season.
They'll also be patrolling Sandown Beach, daily from 11am until 6pm, until August 31.
Swimmers should be reminded to swim between the red and yellow flags for safety.
