Local Day Nursery Chain Announced As Finalist For Prestigious Award

Tops Day Nurseries — which has a branch based on site at the Isle of Wight College — has been selected as a finalist for the Nursery Group Award (NGA).

The prestigious award is open to nursery groups with ten or more UK settings and is designed to recognise a forward-thinking group which has shown outstanding success in delivering high quality childcare, well-trained and motivated staff, inspirational values, focus across the group and financial success.

Cheryl Hadland, Managing Director, and Founder of Tops Day Nurseries said:

“We’re particularly pleased to be finalists this year given the extraordinary pressures on the teams this year due to the pandemic and national shortage of level 3 staff.

"This is a testament to our resilience, and our commitment to doing our very best for children and their parents. I’m very proud of the whole team and thank them from the bottom of my heart."

Winners of the NMT Nursery Awards 2022 will be presented with their trophies at the awards ceremony, which will take place on Saturday 19th November at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel.

The National NMT Nursery Awards has celebrated and recognised the achievements of the nursery sector for 20 years and will continue to do so now more than ever.

Hosted at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, the National NMT Nursery Awards gathers over 700 key industry contacts to network with colleagues and celebrate the well-deserved winners, who are selected by an illustrious panel of judges.

Tops Day Nurseries provides eco-sustainable Early Education and Care for children aged 3 months to school age. They have over 30-day nurseries across the South and Southwest, including a nursery based onsite at the Isle of Wight College.

Tops also offer before, after-school and Hi5 holiday clubs for children up to the age of 11. They have also recently launched a Hi5’s Forest School, a way for children to have fun and learn whilst being outside.
