A man has been arrested following a series of incidents on the Isle of Wight yesterday (Saturday).
Police were called out to a series of linked incidents yesterday afternoon, following reports of burglary, criminal damage and theft of a motor vehicle at a number of properties across the Island, including in Yarmouth, Shalfleet, Calbourne, Gurnard and Cowes.
Anumber of other offences believed to be a part of this series are also being investigated.
A 30-year-old from Wimborne, Dorset was arrested on suspicion of one count of burglary and theft, one count of aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage and one count of criminal damage.
Police enquiries are ongoing at this time.
