A man has been arrested in connection with a serious incident in Newport, that left two people injured.
It was reported to police that a vehicle was driven at two people on South Street, Newport, in the early hours of last Thursday (20).
They both suffered ankle injuries.
Officers investigating this incident have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent as part of enquiries.
He remains in custody at this time.
