A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (gbh) with intent, after breaking into a property in Cowes.
Officers attended an address in Bellevue Road, Cowes, after reports of a disturbance, at around 10.45pm last night (Wednesday).
Police said a 35-year-old man from Cowes was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and using violence to secure entry to premises.
After receiving medical attention, he was taken into custody.
