A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including assault and possession of a knife, in Shanklin.
Police responded to an address on Josephs Way at 4.58pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
"A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray, criminal damage, common assault, and possession of an offensive weapon (namely a knife).
"He remains in custody at this time."
