A man is in custody this morning following a late night crash in Ryde last night (Thursday).
Police were called just after 10pm to a report of a collision on Stroud Wood Road, Ryde.
This involved a red BMW 118i and a turquoise Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Ford, a 36-year-old man from Newport, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He remains in custody.
No injuries were sustained.
