A 74-year-old man has died following a crash in Northwood today (Thursday).
Police were called at 7.42am to a report of a serious collision, involving a white Ford Fiesta and a blue Volkswagen Polo on Newport Road.
A police spokesperson said:
“Officers attended and sadly a 74-year-old man died.
“Specialist officers are supporting their next of kin.
“A 30-year-old woman also suffered minor injuries.”
Investigations are continuing.
