A man arrested in connection with a number of incidents on the Isle of Wight - including aggravated vehicle taking - has been released from custody, but remains under investigation.
Police were called to a series of linked incidents on Saturday (20) following reports of burglary, criminal damage and theft of a motor vehicle at a number of properties across the Island, including in Yarmouth, Shalfleet, Calbourne, Gurnard and Cowes.
A number of other offences believed to be a part of this series are also being investigated.
A 30-year-old from Wimborne, Dorset - arrested on suspicion of one count of burglary and theft, one count of aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage and one count of criminal damage - has been released from custody, but remains under investigation, according to police.
