More than 40,000 tickets have been sold so far for this year's Isle of Wight Festival, as excitement for the event builds.
The festival is back in its usual slot in June (16-19), after being moved to September last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Confirmed headline acts include Lewis Capaldi, Kasabian and Muse - while Madness, Craig David, Rudimental, Happy Mondays, Shaggy, Nile Rodgers and Chic are also on the bill.
Speaking exclusively to Isle of Wight Radio's breakfast show - Topping in the Morning - festival organiser, John Giddings, said:
"I am really pleased with our line-up. Putting it all together is like a jigsaw puzzle, but it is really fulfilling.
"Lewis Capaldi is a comedian - I don't know whether I prefer the songs or the chat! He's Scottish and I'm half Scottish, so he gets my vote. We debated about putting Madness on, but it's a real feel-good factor on the Friday night when it all kicks off.
"I have been lucky enough to see most bands, but the thing I love the most is watching the audience reaction at the festival. I love to see people being entertained. I have great job satisfaction.
"There are 150 bands across the site. I have an involvement in booking most, but not all, of the acts. There are loads of great little places where some stars play too.
"We have sold over 40,000 tickets and we are going to sell-out. It's going to be brilliant."
