With good weather on the horizon, the organisers of the Isle of Wight Sheepdog Trials are gearing up for this year's event in Ashey.
With over 50 competitors and dogs coming from all over the UK the event promises again to deliver a superb demonstration of rural expertise as the sheepdogs work sheep under the critical eye of the judges & in front of a hushed crowd…
The competition will run from 8am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, with locally produced Hazelgrove & Brownrigg burgers, hot dogs and more plus Calbourne Classics & Isle of Wight ice cream, milkshakes, waffles and sundaes to enjoy as you relax outside our refreshment tent.
Entry is free with a donation to The Hospice, plus all profits from the Goddards bar and Calbourne classics cake stall donated to The Hospice - this year the programme is free with a donation. The I Love Wight Makers Market will also be there offering local crafts made by local people.
