The prestigious Mountbatten Christmas Gift Fair will be returning this weekend.
The popular event at Bembridge Sailing Club returns on Saturday (26), featuring more than 30 different traders, offering an array of unique gifts.
To date, the fair has raised more than £70,000 for Mountbatten and it is hoped this year’s will be as popular as ever.
Rosamond Poncia, chair of the Gift Fair Committee, said:
“We will be delighted to welcome people for our sixth Mountbatten Gift Fair.
“We have a number of new stallholders getting involved as well as five Mountbatten stalls – a raffle, lucky dip, local produce, gifts and Christmas bulbs.
“Last year alone raised £21,000 for Mountbatten, so please come along and support.
“Thank you to our sponsors, donors, stallholders, shoppers and the Bembridge Sailing Club for making it happen.”
Shoppers are invited to attend a special preview night between 5pm and 8pm on Friday.
Entry costs £15 and includes wine and canapés. Tickets can be purchased online at mountbatten.org.uk/giftfair
The main shopping event on Saturday takes place between 10am and 3pm. Tickets cost £3 and are available on the door.
Ten percent of the profits from all gifts bought from stallholders will go to Mountbatten, while all money raised at Mountbatten stalls goes directly back to the charity.
