Named Holly Or Phil? Isle Of Wight Nightclub Says You Can Queue-Jump For Free This Weekend

An Isle of Wight nightclub is letting anyone named Holly or Phil queue-jump this weekend.

Fever and Boutique - based at Coppins Bridge in Newport - has made the cheeky announcement in reaction to the controversy over Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield allegedly jumping part of the queue to see the late Queen, lying in state.

The pair have faced a public backlash after appearing to cut ahead of thousands of mourners.

Some people in the public queue had to wait more than 20 hours, with former England football captain David Beckham even lining up for 13 hours to pay his respects to the late monarch.

In a poke at the This Morning hosts, Fever and Boutique, said anyone with the first names of Phil or Holly, are exempt from queuing to get into the club this weekend.

Holly and Phil issued a statement earlier this week, stating they were whisked into Westminster Hall for filming purposes and didn't prevent anyone from paying their respects to the late Queen.

During a pre-filmed statement aired on the ITV show, they said:

"None of the broadcasters and journalists there took anyone's place in the queue and no one filed past the Queen.

"Like hundreds of accredited broadcasters and journalists, we were given official permission to access the hall.

"It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who have not been able to visit Westminster in person."

Fever and Boutique is open 10pm-3am this Friday and Saturday.
