The Isle of Wight hedgelaying competition is back this weekend - at a new location.

The 28th annual event is happening tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am until 4pm at Little Duxmore Farm, Rowlands Lane, by permission of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

It's free to park and free to spectate, while there will also be a tea tent, along with attractions.

Entry is free for competitors and spectators - all are welcome.

This year's hedge is not so long, so pitches are limited. Competitors are asked to submit their entries ASAP to avoid disappointment. Competitors must be on site to register by 9.30am and ready to cut at 10am. The judges’ decision will be announced after 3pm.

Details are at https://iwhg.org/competition.html
