A new video shows the pivotal role the Isle of Wight has played in restoring white-tailed eagles to the English landscape.
In 2019, a landmark project saw Forestry England and the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation release the first six white-tailed eagles on the Island, returning them to our skies after an absence of more than 240 years.
The project aims to restore these lost birds to the English landscape by releasing up to 60 birds.
The new video sees ornithologist Tim Mackrill and project officer Stever Egerton-Read discuss the first four years of the projectand plans for the future.
