The Isorropia Foundation has been awarded just over £1 million from the Government’s Community Ownership Fund.
The funding will allow the Newport-based mental health and well-being service to purchase and begin redeveloping the Medina Valley Centre at Dodnor Lane, Newport, ensuring that this much-loved asset remains in the hands of our local Island community.
A statement released by the Isorropia Foundation said:
"As Joint Founders and CEOs, Charlie Bell and Vicki Haworth would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past year during this bidding process.
"A special thank you goes to John Wells and the Trustees of the Medina Valley Centre for their incredible support and ongoing patience in making this possible.
"2025 promises to be an exciting year for Isorropia! We can’t wait to share our plans and progress with you over the coming months.
"Wishing all our members, team, friends, supporters, and potential members a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year!"
