There's no floating bridge service today, (Sunday), and there won't be one tomorrow until a problem is fixed.
The Isle of Wight Council announced shortly before 9am that there's been what officials describe as "an issue with a prow cable".
A temporary alternative service will continue until repairs are complete — and that's expected on Monday.
