There's warnings that disruption on Island Line will continue until next month, after tunnels flooded in Ryde this week.
A spokesperson for the railway has confirmed that due to the extent of the flooding - and the subsequent remedial work that needs to take place following it - trains will not be running until after the initial expected date of the 29th October.
Tickets will be accepted on Southern Vectis bus routes 2 & 3, and 9 until the service is back in action.
Island Line says it expects to be able to run trains from the end of the day on Wednesday 1st November.
