Not Guilty Plea For Isle Of Wight Man Charged With Ryde Murder

An Isle of Wight man has pleaded not guilty to murder, following the death of a Ryde man.

33-year-old Scott Cooper was found dead at a flat in George Street in January.

Piers Carl Brazier, of George Street, was subsequently charged with his murder.

Appearing at Winchester Crown Court today (Thursday), he denied the charge and has been remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Isle of Wight Crown Court in June.

Meanwhile, four people arrested in connection with Scott Cooper's death have been bailed with conditions.

It follows a series of raids at addresses in Ryde yesterday morning (Tuesday).
