There's just over two weeks to go until Dash in the Dark arrives on the Isle of Wight.
The 5km night-time fun run is raising money for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Director of Income and Engagement, Keith Wilson, said:
“Dash in the Dark is a highlight of our year. And it is incredibly exciting that we’re now able to bring this event to our dedicated supporters on the Island who have played such a huge part in this charity’s history.
"Since the first Dash in 2019, over £56,000 has been raised – all going towards helping those who are in desperate need of emergency critical care.”
Last year the life-saving charity responded to 110 critically-ill patients on the Isle of Wight.
Check in on the night will open at 5.30pm at Saturday, October 8. The warm up will start at 6:30pm, with the 5km dash beginning at 6:45pm, as darkness falls.
The route is softly lit and paved throughout, though head torches are essential. All participants will receive a free Dash in the Dark T-shirt and a glow in the dark medal at the finish line.
Full adult price - £20
