Lake Parish Council has opened its new public toilets at Lake Cliff Gardens following extensive building work and installation of Covid safe individual units.
The facilities are part of a £150,000 investment plan in the town.
Parish Chairman Cllr Paul Brading said:
"The Parish Council recognised the need to upgrade our amenities for the benefit of residents and visitors.
"This major investment is the first phase of a longer term plan to improve facilities in the Parish."
The Public Conveniences were closed around a decade ago by the IW Council, and have been maintained and serviced by Lake Parish Council since.
The new facilities at Lake Cliff Gardens have a payment system of 20p, either by cash or card.
Cllr Brading added:
"This investment of £150,000 reflects the ambition of the Parish to respond to feedback from local parishioners.
"As well as part of our contribution to the development of a Bay Place Plan, alongside Sandown and Shanklin Town Councils."
