One new case of coronavirus has been confirmed on the Isle of Wight.
The new case is the first since June 25.
The total number of confirmed positive cases on the Isle of Wight stands at 204.
Despite reports in some other media, the Island is nowhere near a local lockdown - according to the leader of the Isle of Wight Council, Dave Stewart.
A report in a national newspaper - and picked up locally - stating the Island is at an increased risk of a breakout which could force a lockdown - - has been described as inaccurate.
