One person is said to be trapped after being involved in a three-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Newport this morning (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 10.07am to assist the Ambulance service after the incident on Horsebridge Hill - near the junction with Noke Common.
Fire, Police and Ambulance crews are all in attendance at the incident, where the road is currently partly blocked.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work.

Horsebridge Hill is currently closed in both directions following the incident.
Police are currently allowing Southern Vectis' Route 1 to maintain its service along Horsebridge Hill without diversion - although delays are expected.

Horsebridge Hill has reopened to traffic.
