Partners of mums-to-be will now be able to attend ultrasound scans at the Isle of Wight Maternity Unit, after a review of policy.
Birth partners had been unable to attend 12 and 20 week scans due to the protective restrictions put in place in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Maternity Unit announced the good news - which comes into force on Monday - on Facebook last night.
