A person falling down a cliff in Ventnor prompted a call-out for Coastguard Rescue Teams yesterday (Sunday).
Sandown Lifeboat, Ventnor Coastguard and Needles Coastguard were called to Binnel Bay at around 2.40pm - following reports a person had got into difficulty.
Teams carried out a short search in what they described as a 'difficult terrain'.
The Lee-on-Solent Coastguard helicopter 'winched' the person to safety, after they were said to have fallen 15ft down a cliff.
