Newport's Platform One College has received praise from Isle of Wight Festival head honcho John Giddings.
It comes after students featured across a variety of stages during the four-day event.
Notably, Beth Brookfield got Main Stage proceedings underway on the Sunday with a well-received set that followed a dazzling Kashmir performance a day earlier.
Other highlights from P1 students included The Optimists and Rhirhi on the Kashmir Cafe stage, and new blood such as 'The Real Slim Shady' on P1's own stage.
John Giddings, Managing Director of Solo and the heartbeat behind the past two decades of IW Festivals, said:
"I am very proud to be a patron of Platform One.
"They do an incredible job of preparing young musicians for the reality of the music industry.
"I like helping people and my work with Platform One feels the right thing to do — they have integrity and are good at what they do."
Platform One's stage had more than 40 emerging bands performing, with students also working as Artist Liaison for the Main Stage and working alongside artist management.
Involved in the festival since its reincarnation in 2002, the college is now taking applicants on all programmes for its 2022/23 academic year.
