Platform One Stage Back In Main Arena At Isle Of Wight Festival

The Platform One Stage will be returning to the Main Arena at this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

Platform One College of Music has had a close working relationship with the Isle of Wight Festival since 2002.

The Platform One Stage is now returning to the Main Arena this year and is programmed and run by Platform One College of Music.

The stage will feature a diverse and eclectic mix of Island music over the duration of the festival, from acoustic tunes through to rock bands, with everything in between.

John Giddings, the man behind the Isle of Wight Festival, has been an active patron of Platform One since 2004.

He said:

"Platform One does an amazing job in nurturing talent and helping their students learn about the music business. We are proud to be able to help them in any way possible."

Platform One runs full time courses from Level 1 through to a BA (Hons) Commercial Music, which is run in partnership with University of Chichester. There is also a new Masters programme – MA Music Industry Innovation and Enterprise.
