Coastguard teams and the police are searching for a missing woman in Ryde.
Isle of Wight Radio understands the search area is focused mainly on the Esplanade and near to Ryde Pier.
Its understood the woman is ‘high risk’ and was last though to have been seen this afternoon (Wednesday).
Ventnor and Bembridge Coastguard teams and Wight SAR are assisting police. Cowes Lifeboat has also been tasked to assist.
