
Police were called to Newport last night (Saturday) after a woman in her 50s suffered a leg injury following a domestic incident.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
"We were called at 10.24pm yesterday to a report of a domestic incident taking place at an address on Manor Crescent, Newport.
"Officers attended and discovered a woman in her 50s with an injury to her leg. She was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
"A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of wounding without intent.
"She has been released from police custody with no further action being taken against her."
