Police were called to an East Cowes pub last night (Wednesday) following reports of an incident involving a man with a knife.
The incident took place at around 8.30pm at the Victoria Tavern in Clarence Road.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed:
"Police attended and arrested a 28-year-old man on Kings Road, on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of a knife in a public place."
The man remains in custody at this time.
