Police were called to two early morning crashes today (Sunday) in Arreton.
Officers were called at 3.16am today to reports of a single vehicle collision near Downend Road.
The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries.
Police have said that they are in touch with the driver and enquiries are ongoing.
The second early hours call came at 4.20am today, to reports of another single vehicle collision on the main road at Arreton.
The driver had collided with a telephone box and live cables were exposed. He sustained minor injuries.
Officers have been on scene to set up a cordon. The road remains open.
BT engineers have been contacted to make the area safe.
Police said that they are also in touch with the driver and enquires are continuing.
