
A teenage girl is alleged to have been inappropriately touched today (Monday), prompting police to investigate.
Officers were called at 8:18am to a report that a 13 year-old girl had been inappropriately touched by a man in his 20s, whom she did not know.
The incident is believed to have happened on Medina Road, close to the Floating Bridge, at some point between 7:30am and 8am.
The girl was not seriously hurt.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:
"An investigation is underway to establish exactly what happened and officers remain in the area to carry out enquiries."
