52 tickets have been issued to motorists and two arrests have been made by police on the Isle of Wight this weekend.
Officers from the mainland assisted with the operation in the West Wight over the weekend, after recent reports of dangerous driving on the Military Road.
Tickets were issued for offences including speeding or driving with exhaust/number plate defects.
According to police, a 23-year-old man from Ventnor was arrested on Blackgang Road between Chale and Niton on Saturday, on suspicion of drug driving.
A second arrest was made following a collision on Horsebridge Hill in Newport on Saturday - as previously reported.
The driver of the Range Rover involved was then de-arrested at St Mary's hospital, to allow medical procedures to take place.
Investigations are continuing.
