Popular Island Photographer Has Mountain Bike Stolen

A popular Isle of Wight photographer has expressed her dismay after thieves stole her mountain bike.

Sienna Anderson told Isle of Wight Radio that the black and green 'Trek' ladies bike was stolen sometime overnight last night (Thursday).

She says the bike was stolen from an alley next to her property in Union Street, Ryde.

Sienna said:

"It looks like whoever has taken it has broken into the alley and cut a pipe which the bike was locked to - and stolen it.

"I am so angry and disappointed!"

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.

Following Isle of Wight Radio's appeal, Sienna's bike has been found.

She said:

"FOUND !!!

"I never thought I would be saying this.

"Thanks to the power of Social Media, friends, family and the lovely people that live on this Island my bike had been found...

"It was taken to a disused building in Ryde where people have been breaking in and using it as a doss house, only thing is it’s currently manned at night now and they were chased off - leaving my bike behind.

"Thank you everyone for all your help and support - amazing."
