The Isle of Wight Council would like to remind parents they can now register their children for primary school admissions, for the September 2025 school term.
The admissions pages are now open and they will close at midnight on Wednesday 15 January 2025. Primary school place application can be done by visiting Apply to start primary school September 2025
The National Offer Day, when parents are notified which primary school their children have a place at, will be on Wednesday 16 April 2025.
Councillor Jonathan Bacon, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and Education, said:
"The decision was made to postpone the date for primary school admissions this year to allow extra time to support school staff through the sensitivities of the school place planning process.
"We are pleased to say that parents can now register their children for a primary school place."
