An Isle of Wight primary school was locked down yesterday (Tuesday) after a man entered the site needing medical assistance.
Police were called to Hunnyhill Primary School on Forest Road in Newport at 12:40pm.
It was quickly established this was a concern for welfare call and officers attended to assist colleagues from the ambulance service.
A 36 year-old man was subsequently taken for medical treatment by a team from the ambulance service.
