Priory School Collects Over 200 Bags Of Donations For Ukrainian Refugees

Students at Whippingham's Priory School have been showing their support for Ukraine.

More than 200 bags of donations were collected by pupils in just 48 hours.

It followed an appeal from Year 4 teacher, Mrs Nicholson. The donations will now be sent to refugees from the war-torn country.

Priory School’s Head of History, Dr Thompson, gave a talk, complete with maps and slides, to all pupils from Year 5 upwards on Tuesday (8).

In an email to parents, Mr Matyjaszek said:

"We have no words for your generosity.

"There will be a mufti day–colours blue and yellow of course–to raise funds next Friday March 11th!"
