Staff at the Quay Arts Centre are said to be 'super excited' their doors can open in time for the Christmas Craft Fair next weekend.
It comes as the Isle of Wight has been placed in tier 1 restrictions, meaning the hospitality sector and businesses can open next week.
Throughout lockdown, the team has been working behind the scenes to bring their exhibitions online and launching their very first online shop.
A socially distanced craft fair will take place next Saturday (5) and Sunday (6), with local stalls, artists and makers selling their festive goods.
The team at Quay Arts said:
'We want to make sure you feel as safe as possible when doing your festive shopping, so we will have certain measures in place around the building’.
Measures that will be in force include:
- A one-way system in place
- Limited capacity allowed in the building
- Social distancing measures in place
- Face coverings to be worn around the building
- Hand sanitizer stations
- Track & trace
