Red Jets Return To Pre-Cowes Week Timetable

Red Jet sailings have returned to their pre-Cowes Week schedule.

From now until August 19, a new, reduced timetable is in place.

Crossings will be less frequent compared to what they were before the coronavirus pandemic.

It follows a weekend of disruption which saw a host of sailings cancelled due to 'mechanical problems'.

Red Funnel says there will be two extra departures from each side on Friday August, however.

There will also be an additional eight departures from each side on Saturday August 14.

Fran Collins, Chief Executive at Red Funnel, said:

“Over the last few weeks we’ve noticed a greater demand for our Friday and Saturday departures and want to provide our customers with the services they require. As we move into the busier summer holiday period, we want to offer our customers confidence in our services, as well as ensure our Island passengers continue to receive a reliable service, despite busier periods.

“Our scheduling team are working their hardest to prepare the timetable from 20th of August, and we will provide our customers with another service update as soon as we have that information ready. As always, we thank our customers for bearing with us. We’re committed to keeping our customers in the loop and being as transparent as possible.”
