Avenue Road in Sandown has been closed for emergency works, following days of flooding.
The busy section of road is shut from its junction with Morton Common, to its junction with Broadway.
It follows days of heavy rain, which caused major flooding - forcing the road to be closed.
It's not known how long the urgent flood relief works will last.
Long diversions are in place via The Fairway and Perowne Way.
