Royal Navy Hawk jets are set to fly past the Isle of Wight today (Thursday).
The spectacle will be a farewell flight by four aircraft from 736 Naval Air Squadron, with the Royal Navy announcing they will be retiring following 40 years of service.
The Hawk Jets are expected to fly past the north-west side of the Island - past Freshwater, Totland, Yarmouth, Cowes and East Cowes, before heading north, just after 4pm.
The Royal Navy have stated the plan and timings are:
Thursday March 17
- Hawks will depart from RNAS Culdrose at 3.30pm
- Plymouth 3.40pm
- RNAS Yeovilton 3.55pm
- Bournemouth 4.05pm
- (Past the Isle of Wight between 4.05pm-4.15pm)
- Portsmouth 4.15pm
- Prestwick shortly after 5pm.
Friday March 18
- Hawks will Depart from Prestwick 11am
- RAF Valley 11.25pm
- Pembrey 11.50pm
- Newquay 12pm
- Return home 12.15pm
