The derelict Ryde Arena building has been listed for rent by estate agents Savills.
According to Rightmove, the former ice rink is available to let for £7,917 per month.
It has stood empty on Ryde seafront for a number of years, and council attempts to bring it back into use have so far failed.
The Isle of Wight Council owns the freehold of the building, and has been in arbitration proceedings with the leaseholder for the property, AEW, to get it back into reasonable repair.
Legal action had been initiated, under the terms of the lease to require AEW to use its “best endeavours” to keep the facility open and operational in the longer term.
It required the two parties to use arbitration to resolve the argument as a first step.
However, the council last month (February) said "no progress was being made" and the arbitration process was ended "to prevent further expense to the council taxpayer."
The 27,850 square foot property has since appeared on the Rightmove website, with rental offers in the region of £95,000 per annum being welcomed.
