Today (Saturday) would have been Sandown's Carnival - but instead it will go online.
For the second year running the popular event has been unable to take place.
Organisers have come up with a way for all the family to dress up and have fun this summer...in the Sandown Virtual Carnival.
It includes a free-to-enter fancy dress photo competition with prizes for the best pics sent in.
All you need to take part is a good idea, a camera and a Google account.
Sandown Carnival chair Paul Coueslant said:
‘So many people have told us how much they’ve been missing the summer parades, we thought we’d provide an outlet for all that creative talent bursting to express itself these last two years when Island carnivals haven’t been able to happen. We hope everyone will have a lot of fun in the summer holidays putting together and snapping their entries’.
