LISTEN: Second Single Release in 40 Years For Isle Of Wight's Cassie

An Isle of Wight band who found success almost four decades after splitting have released the second single of their comeback.

'Take Some Responsibility' is the group's second single release since they officially reformed in 2021.

The incredible tale of Cassie — a four-piece well known across the Island — saw 1982 single 'Change My Image' re-released by New York label Reminder Records in 2020.

This led to a second run as a band, this time sadly without guitarist Nigel Hayles, who died in 2002.

The remaining members: singer/songwriter Debbie Coles, bassist Eric Biggs and drummer Hugh Kim Lewis, released Cassie's first new single, 'Don't Let the Music Stop', in September 2021.

Two versions of follow-up, Take Some Responsibility, have now been released digitally.

Phil Oswald has collaborated with the remaining three band members during the recording of the new material.

Cassie’s album ‘The Light Shines On’ is available through Reminder Records and across all streaming platforms.
