A bottle attack in Shanklin - where a woman sustained facial injuries - has prompted a police investigation.
The incident happened on 25 September on Landguard Road.
During the incident it's alleged a woman struck another on the head with a bottle.
Posting on Facebook Hampshire Constabulary said:
'The Southwight Team are appealing for witnesses to an assault which occurred on Landguard Road, Shanklin on 24/9/21. During the incident it is alleged that a female struck another female in the head with a bottle causing facial injuries.
'It is believed to have occurred at 3pm close to the bus stop near Co-Op. If you witnessed the assault please contact us on 101 quoting reference 44210387190.'
