Shanklin Hotel Named In TripAdvisor Best Of The Best List

TripAdvisor has released their annual Traveller’s Choice of the Best of the Best Hotels, and an independently owned hotel in Shanklin has made the cut.

The magnificent Haven Hall Hotel, run by a small team led by owners David and Arielle Barrett, is celebrating second place in the Best of the Best Small UK Hotels category from the online travel information and booking website giant, TripAdvisor.

The Shanklin hotel benefitted from a multi-million pound renovation in 2017 and now regularly features in magazine articles as must-visit destination.

With 14 en-suite rooms, the luxury boutique hotel commands unrivalled views across the award-winning Sandown Bay, and boasts a swimming pool, grass tennis court and croquet lawn.

It also has a helipad in the 2-acre grounds which have won awards for the Best Hotel Garden on the Isle of Wight.

Owners David And Arielle said:

"The award is really a reflection of the quality of the excellent staff who work with us as part of the family team running our hotel."

Will Myles, MD at Visit Isle of Wight, added:

"We are very proud that Haven hall has won this prestigious award, based on customer reviews on TripAdvisor.

"The Isle of Wight consistently shows up as a favourite destination for many visitors, with so much on offer from rolling countryside, award-winning beaches and attractions.

"Add in businesses such as David and Arielle’s Haven Hall providing such a good quality of service, it is easy to see why!"

The Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best is awarded to hotels with a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from their community over a 12-month period.

Each winner has passed TripAdvisor’s rigorous trust and safety standards and fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in hospitality.

Top of the list is the Molleston Hotel in Wales.
